I was extremely fortunate to be able to start my library career at Access/Information, Inc. (A/I). This company is one of the oldest information management businesses in the country and one of its key services is providing second stage companies with market research. The owner asked me to write a guest blog post recently and it was my pleasure to contribute a description of some Free Business Resources.
Today I posted my interview with Ken Varnum, the new editor of Information Technology and Libraries (ITAL) on LITA. It was a pleasure speaking with him and learning about his life both within librarianship and outside of it. I’m extremely excited about his plans to enhance and expand ITAL’s readership, a journal I was embarrassed to admit that I didn’t know much about before our meeting. I’m confident that under his leadership, ITAL will become a more dynamic publication. Check out the latest issue.
